Meet Kevin

I grew up in Davis, and I’ve been living in Albany for the past 12 years -and in the Bay Area for over 22. I moved here for diversity and opportunity, and I fell in love with the culture and sense of community. After graduating college, my brother and I started a general contracting business, McCaffrey Brothers, Inc. We specialize in green-minded design-build projects for both indoor and outdoor living spaces. In the midst of my career, I recognized the unique relationship between contracting and real estate, and became a Realtor.

 My career as a designer and builder has been incredibly valuable in assisting clients who are buying and selling real estate, both in identifying potential in a property for sale, and in recognizing elements that can help refresh a home for resale.

 While many brokerages have relationships with ‘concierge’ service providers, who bring in outside resources to refresh a home for resale, I use my trusted group of subcontractors to perform any work to maximize your resale value. This often means a more timely, professional team, and a more polished product.  As a seller’s agent, a strategy that has worked very well is agreeing on a budget with my seller to refresh their home. We perform the work prior to going to market, and carry the cost of the project until the close of escrow. 

 Helping people is what drives me, whether it’s a friend or family member, a client, or my kids. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me coaching one of my boys’ sports teams, which I thoroughly enjoy. Teaching them - and their teammates - about the values of sportsmanship, respect, hard work, confidence, and teamwork is my ongoing goal, and it is incredibly fulfilling. These are values I try to practice in every aspect of life, because relationships mean everything to me.
