As you may know, while real estate is my full time main profession, I continue to teach a few Yoga classes a week to stay balanced and connected to my local community.
In my yoga class today, as always, I began by asking my students, “Any requests?” Meaning, “is there a way I can help support you to feel better today?”
The typical response I often get is, “Shoulders!”, “Hips”, “Neck!”... But today, on this cloudy January afternoon in Berkeley, someone said, “Sunshine.”
With a smile, I replied, “I’ll see what I can do.”
About five minutes into class, some of the students started chuckling as sunrays were streaming into the yoga studio. One student said, “It’s magic!”
While this may have been a bit of magic, coincidence, manifested, or from some higher power, it’s a fun example of the saying, “It doesn’t hurt to ask.”
When it comes to real estate, do you have something you are working towards, do you have a goal that you’d like support with? Are you wanting to buy your first home, thinking of getting an investment property, or considering selling to relocate? In my opinion, asking a realtor to help is your first necessary step to magic. Your goal might not be something you think is possible, but you won’t know until you ask.
In home buying and selling, while there is a lot of information online, there is only so far you’ll get. Working with a good realtor is going to streamline the process, confirm that you are making the best decisions for your best outcome, get you access to offline and off-market resources, and help guide you through each step with the local knowledge and expertise to meet your goal.
If you are ready to make some magic, send me a note to let me know what your home goals are, and we’ll take the next steps together.
